Rewarding Walk with God

Is about doing the little things that bring
surprises into the lives of many.

Expecting for no return in form of $ and Cents.
Doing something out of inconvenience and not
aiming to advertise the good deeds.

However, a word of "THANK YOU" do come by
now and then. You may not expect it as you were
just doing what you can.Yet, to the person it means
ALOT to them.

The one "THANK YOU" reminds me of how
rewarding it is to walk with God.

He is who that propels me to do things out of
the usual and resulting in pleasant surprises and
everlasting sweet memories. When discouraged
He reminded me of them and with my eyes closed,
I see Him looking at me smiling from high.

Tears of joy outburst with a heartfelt gradtitue of His
love and assurance that it is a rewarding journey with
HIM!

Listening to His Voice

Listening to His voice takes courage.
It takes courage because sometimes you will get ridiculed by others.
It is like the Amazing Race walking with Him heeding His voices.
Sometimes at the moment of doubt and conscious mind we disregard
His voice. We think it is a "CRAZY IDEA!".

Like the Wright Brothers, if they didn't have the wildest thought to fly
and go all odds to prove it is possible... when back then many said
it was a "CRAZY IDEA, not possible!". Yet, the truth tells us that
it is possible if not we won't get to fly on a Jet Plane.

(Isaiah 55:8-12) "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD. {9} "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. {10} "For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, {11} So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. {12} "For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands".

It is only when you obey His voice you get to experience the truth.

Surviving Just on JESUS

Imagine a life where you can carry on only with each breathe that comes from Jesus. Imagine, when you can no longer think straight without thinking about Jesus. When within minutes from Christ means giving up everything you had.You eat but could not be satisfied, you drink but your thirst will not be sated. When only the Spirit of God will make you feel alive.

Isn't that what the angels does for eternity? To sing the Praise of our Lord and to Worship Him everyday? To bath in His presence every single minute in Heaven.

Psalm 1:2
But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

Psalm 25:5
guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.

Habakkuk 3:18
yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.

Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

To survive on Jesus is what it is like to be in Heaven.

My Church

I was saved in a Mega-church based in Singapore, many will have heard of us before, having the Pastor's wife as an international star.

The media have also drawn much attention to us recently, being investigated for misuse of church funds.

Yes. I belong to City Harvest Church.

I stand firm with my Church and my Senior Pastor, Rev. Kong Hee. Believing that he is innocent. I believe that in time of crisis, I should stand together with the Church that God has planted me into.

I believe and accept Christ as my Lord and Savior, I believe in the Speaking of Tongues, Praying in the Spirit, to Devote myself in His Words, to follow His Way, to Love People Fervently, to Honor my Parents with my Givings, not just with Money but also with Love and Concern, and to give my Tithes and Offerings Cheerfully, to Stay Rooted in the Church, to Obey the 11 Commandments of God, to do the Will of God, to Serve Him, to Love Him, to Spend Time with Him though Prayer, Praise and Worship, to Respect the Religion of Others, to not Offend and be Offended by Others, to Forgive and be Forgiven, to Accept and be Accepted.

To spread the Gospel of my Lord, Jesus Christ.

Amen.

My 1st Post - The meaning of relying on Jesus

When facing a crisis in your life. When you are facing immense stress and pressure, how do you lean on Jesus for support so that you won't break down and give up?

I think many people will have tell you by now, unless you just became a Christian yesterday. That life as a Christian is not a bed of roses. Comfortable and as sweet smelling as the rose petals. It is not a soft feather-filled bed where you can lie on the whole day. With servants bringing you food and drinks when you are hungry. Where a TV set will suddenly pop-up and entertain you when you are bored.

You will face troubles. You will feel pain. And you will definitely want to give up.

I find that: to rely on Jesus for support while facing a crisis in your life, is to soak yourself in an atmosphere that is alive with His presence.

First you must create an atmosphere that is inviting to the Holy Spirit.

This is what I do when I reach home,
1. I will close the door of my room.
2. Switch off the lights.
3. Play some soothing Christian song.
4. Start Singing along.
5. Praying.
6. Praying & Singing in tongues.
7. Think of nothing.

Soon when His presence fall on me, I will start to cry and weep. But at the same time. I will feel tremendously relief, a great sense of peace, it will be like all of my burden suddenly vanishing.

That is the comfort you get from leaning upon God.

John 14:16
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Introduction

How is it like walking along with Christ? I suppose each of us have an unique experience. Specially design and given by Jesus. I dedicate this blog to Christ. To list down my experience walking with Him here so I can read them from time to time. Maybe it might encourage others. In time to come, this blog will even become part of my walk with Him...
